The agriturismo
In Garfagnana, at the heart of the valley formed by the Ceserano creek at around 900 m altitude, the agriturismo is surrounded by green chestnut woods, and stands in front of the Apuan Alps in a picturesque setting among animals out to pasture.
The farm prides itself in showing respect for the environment, using photovoltaic panels to produce its electricity and wood burning stoves for its heating and hot water.
The accommodation
The guest apartment includes a fridge, TV, radio, hairdryer and a range of domestic appliances, and the kitchen contains all you need to prepare your meals: a small gas oven, pots and pans and utensils, a stunning open fireplace for grilling meat and recipes for creating traditional local dishes.
Guests can opt to receive a welcome hamper containing typical produce, some of which is produced on the farm itself, such as the famous sweet chestnut flour, as well as other everyday items.
Mountain bikes are available for free upon request, the perfect way to explore the surrounding area.
