Fattoria Maionchi

The Villa and the Farm date back to the 17th century and are typical “Lucchesian.” The residence and the agricultural aspects (cellars, stalls, stables, mill, oil mill, kiln, etc.) of the estate form an indivisible working unit.

The sensitive restoration of the agricultural annexes allowed for the creation of a traditional restaurant which is very much in keeping with the architectural and culinary vernacular. Not just the physical structures but centuries old practices have been preserved in for example the continued use of the wood burning oven.
Typical Lucchesian and Tuscan dishes are served in the restaurant from Thursday to Sunday evening and on Sunday for lunch.
Similar attention is paid to maintaining the production traditions and quality of the DOC wines (Colline Lucchesi Red and White), the valued reserves (Rubino di Selvata, Collegrosso, Cintello and Arcangelo) and our widely celebrated superior extra-virgin olive oil.

Parts of the farm and outlying buildings have been converted into agri-turismo apartments. They are in three different parts of the property:
The Farm - The Tralci Apartments: The apartments are in the farm building with panoramic views. They are surrounded by extensive gardens with a swimming pool.
Corte Brincolo: Two recently renovated buildings where farm workers once lived 200 metres from the farm. The apartments are situated around a large walled garden and swimming pool.

Stunning views greet guests at any of these apartments at the old mill of the farm just 200 metres from the farm and restaurant. Guests in these apartments will share a swimming pool (5.5x12m).
