The estate is the property of the noble Garzoni family of the nearby city of Lucca and is still inhabited by the family's descendents. Just inland from the famous seaside resort area known as the Versilia, the estate has the magnificent Apuane Alps as backdrop and overlooks Lake Massaciuccoli.

All apartments, are renovated ‘800 rural houses, and maintain the original charme. They are immersed in the 10000 olive tree plantation (the trees are estimated to be over 300 years old).
All the apartments are self-contained and are divided into floors and still maintain the original rural Tuscan furniture. They all have a small equipped garden.
The main villa is surrounded by a 4 acre garden; a swimming pool (16x9) with changing room and toilet which is open from the beginning of June to the end of September. There is also table tennis and children playground.
