Immersed in the green Apuano hills, between Massa and Forte dei Marmi, this ancient stone country house with sea view, set next to the Aghinolfi castle (VII cent.), has been fully refurbished according to bio-architecture criteria and perfectly blends into the surrounding environment.
The rooms, furnished with period furniture, offer comfort and old days atmosphere. Guests can choose among different solutions: accommodation in one of the flats, with one or two bedrooms, B&B or half board. You can enjoy the vast outdoor spaces, like the covered loggias in front of the bedrooms where the guests can read and relax. In addition: sun beds, deck chairs and hammocks in the wood. A roomy sea-view veranda acts as a dining room and reading room .The beautiful panorama from the farm sweeps from the Apuano hills to the sea.
Cooking is personally cared for by Carla Brushi and is rich and varied. You can in fact try Tuscan and Mediterranean typical dishes and, upon request, vegetarian dishes. Carla’s recipes mostly include organic products from the farm, which guests can also buy (oil, wine, jam, sauces, vegetable preserve in olive oil), and typical local products (charcuterie, meat and fish). Olive oil, wine, jam and wild herbs are also sold on the farm.
