Pool a good size and very much enjoyed by the kids as were the play area and all the animals - the donkeys are very well fed!!!
A real Italian dinner prepared & delivered to us in the garden was delicious and added to the laziness of our holiday.
Many thanks we definitely recommend it.

I am writing to say a huge 'Thank you" for making our stay at your lovely farm house so enjoyable. The accommodation was perfect for us and it was made better by your warm hospitality. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool and walking through the grounds too. The situation was ideal and we managed to see so many nearby towns, including Florence and Sienna due to its perfect location. We would not hesitate to recommend your farmhouse to our relatives and friends.
Kind regards,
Sandy

Where do I begin? The apartment (L'Alloro) was great, with three large bedrooms, a large living room and a well equipped kitchen. All of the rooms have great views over the farm and countryside.
The farm itself was amazing. There were lots of seating areas, a great swimming pool area with stunning views, an ancient barn, a former Etruscan tomb (now a butter cellar), and acres of olive groves and fruit trees. The animals (chickens, donkeys, goats, sheep, cats, birds, and a dog)on the farm provided my daughter with hours of fun, and by the end of the holiday she had started to imitate the chickens! I had a fondness for Johnny Stacchino the cockerel! He is very tame and likes to peck feet, and in fact chased me around the farm 3 times in order to do so!
The location of the farm is perfect, and allowed us to visit some wonderful places, including Firenze, Monteriggioni, Siena, San Gimignano, and Viarregio. The village of Montopoli is very interesting, and has great restaurants, local butchers, bars and tobacconists.
Finally, the owners of the farm are welcoming, friendly, and do all they can to make a holiday special. Damiano is an expert in Tuscan art and history, and offers great information on alternative trips to the usual tourist routes. He has written a very useful book called Slow Tuscany, which I have read. The book has inspired me to visit some of the places detailed within it. I cannot express enough how great Damiano and his wife Sara were! Me and my family felt that we had made two great friends, and genuinely did not want to leave at the end of our holiday.
Once again, Grazie Mille to Damiano and Sara, and to the whole family for making our holiday 'The Best Holiday Ever!'.
