Review:
Germagnana is located on Tuscanian countryside in forest covered hills. The location is beautiful and peaceful, virtually no neighbor farms in sight. Just hill tops with cypress trees in rows as one would expect in Tuscany. San Miniato old town 15min drive, Montopoli old town less than 5min drive.
The environment is very relaxing and tranquil. Great bike trekking roads and paths nearby.
Part of Germagnana buildings have been originally built on Ancient Roman times. All facilities have been renovated and modernized tastefully, respecting the ancient roots. All facilities are in excellent condition.
The owners and staff were caring and friendly. We felt that they treated our family as friends and not just as another client.
The place is perfect for horse back riders (or wannabees). There are 5 friendly horses and their owner Massimo will help people to learn to handle horses. The horses have plenty of woodlands and fields to wander.
Our two young daughters enjoyed very much swimming in the pool, playing in the garden and taking care of the horses.
Germagnana is located on top of the hill and their small wine yards are well located in the slopes producing good quality organic Chianti and good olive oil.
Germagnana can be recommended without any hesitation.
