Review:

We used this farmhouse apartment as our base to tour the surrounding countryside. Beautiful farm location with quiet setting. Although we spoke no Italian, we managed to communicate with the family and enjoyed our stay. Volterra was a beautiful town to explore.

Review:

La Torricella is a nice farm house, lying some 10 minutes by car away from the main street in a beautiful landscape. The flat was big on nice, but a bit cold. There was the remote control of the TV and some other small things missing, and our problem was: how to communicate with the hostess, who was speaking only italian and not a single word in english? That made our stay a little less comfortable than it should have been.
