The agriturismo
A big country house which has been lovingly renovated by Genuino Del Duca. Located just a few kilometers from Volterra, the estate immersed in the pristine landscape dominated by rolling Tuscan hills, an oasis of absolute peace and tranquillity. Two hundred and fifty ancient olive trees give rise to the fruity extra-virgin olive oil, whereas, from two hectares of a young vineyard, Genuino, also chef of the restaurant “Del Duca” in Volterra, produces three red wines, “Genuino” (sangiovese), “Marcampo” (sangiovese and merlot) and “Giusto alle Balze” (merlot), and a sangiovese and merlot grappa.
The accommodation
We have 3 Double Bedrooms, 2 Apartments and 1 Suite. All are decorated with great care and country elegance.
The rooms are equipped with LCD televisions, Wi-Fi internet access and telephones with free local and national land-line calls.
Half-board is possible in restaurant Del Duca in Volterra, same ownership.
The Marcampo estate currently focuses its energies on producing wine and oilive oil: two IGT red wines and extra-virgin olive oil.
