Review:

We spent the first weekend of March farm Montalto. We chose it by chance surfing the internet and it was a pleasant surprise. The facility is beautiful and accurate in every detail. The rooms are cozy and clean. Good both breakfast (with fresh pies and various types of homemade jam) and dinner with typical Tuscan dishes. Also strategically located for some of the most beautiful cities of Tuscany, like Pisa and Florence, but also the smaller but no less characteristic, S. Miniato, Volterra and Montopoli (beautiful!!) Best wishes to Cynthia, his family and the friendly and Chicca Elijah! We hope to return soon to visit you and will recommend it to everyone!

Review:

we were at Montalto in late August, it was beautiful, pool surrounded by olive groves bellisssima, fantastic dinners! only downside: Having regard to the unusual heat of the days we have suffered a little during the night, but even more air conditioning would take at least a small fridge. Greetings to all the staff including Chicca and Elijah and a kiss from Aurora, and Alexander, who have been like family with lots of "adoptive grandparents" ...

Review:

I spent six nights at this great situated place. Nice surroundings, well positioned if you want to visit Pisa, Lucca, Florence etc. Also the dinner and wine was very nice with typical dishes, very well prepared. It took a few days however before they could offer soft drinks like Fanta or Cola for the children. Breakfast was a bit poor, we missed the eggs and fresh fruit. Also the coffee was not according high Italian standards I think.

The room was very nice, we had the "Montopoli" room with a nice view on the valley and of course Montopoli. Cleaning of the room was good, friendly staff. Unfortunately there were some defects in the bathroom, further a small refrigerator would have been convenient.

All together a nice place to stay, however by paying attention to some details it could be a great place to stay.

» [Montalto] reply: Thanks also for the criticism, will help us to improve our services and structure. We would like to stress that in any case, what can a lack sermbrare (Fanta, Coca-Cola) is actually the result of a very clear choice: to promote the consumption of natural beverages such as fruit juices and juice homemade sugar-free added, chemical additives, dyes, etc.. This choice is part of our "mission" to offer a wider regional cuisine, Zero km, which follows the seasonal ingredients of the products and privileges of our farm and neighboring farms. The same is true of breakfast: Buffet on alternate days also offer eggs, though not always, giving more room for homemade jam tarts and freshly baked cakes, as is the tradition of Italian breakfast. Eggs for breakfast are not really typical of our area. Thanks anyway for the comments, it will keep the account and will try to improve!
