Traditional stone buildings, of which the oldest dates back to 1664, on a 110-hectare property with lake and woods, barnyard animals and an Amiata donkey. In 1993, the farm started offering accommodation to complement the organic agriculture.
The renovation used environmentally-friendly materials and photovoltaic and solar panels that produce electricity and hot water.
In the main building, the agriturismo offers 2 spacious, functional apartments, with several bedrooms, bathroom, living/dining room with kitchenette, and 2 mini apartments in the old barn, ideal for small families.
Each apartment has a table and chairs outside and comfortable sun loungers. There is a shared swimming pool with sun terrace, toys for children, stone barbecue and laundry.
Within easy reach are Pisa (47 km), Lucca (52 km), Florence (69 km) and Siena (70 km); the seaside (locality Cecina - Livorno) is about km.40, while nearby, you can find riding stables and golf courses in Castelfalfi.
In Volterra, you can visit the Roman amphitheatre of Vallebuona, the Etruscan Museum, Piazza dei Priori, the Medici fortress, the Renaissance palaces, the Alabatro Museum, the Museum of Sacred Art and Palazzo Viti.
In Peccioli, as well as a charming old town, visitors can enjoy the museum complex consisting of four different exhibition areas managed by the Per Peccioli Foundation of great cultural interest.
