The agriturismo
The farm-house is located in the heart of the Etruscan land, one of the purest and evocative areas of Tuscany, overlooking the ancient towns of Volterra and Pomarance. Built more than 150 years ago, today opens its doors to guests in three comfortable double bedrooms, one suite for 4 people and two apartments.
The Berignone Forest Nature Reserve still keeps untouched its variety of vegetation and wildlife, so it will be easy for you to watch the flight of a buzzard above your head or some fallow and roe deer walking among the olive trees of our estate.
Our 19th century farmhouse and its garden, rich in aromatic plants such as myrtle, laurel, lavender and rosemary, will welcome you to offer the typical sensations, sounds, scents and feelings of the Tuscan way of living.
The accommodation
Thanks to its unique position surrounded by olive trees and the famous hills of Tuscany with its roman and etruscan villages you will find relax lying in the sun or enjoying our swimming-pool who has been recently costructed in accordance with the green surrounding.
Annette, Roberto and their daughters Maria and Lucia will welcome you and offer the choice of two apartments, one suite composed by two double rooms with bathroom and 3 double rooms with private bathrooms. One room and one apartment are accessable for the disabled.
Every day we serve evening meals under the shed with the view on Volterra and Pomarance in front of breathtaking sunsets while you enjoy the tipical Tuscan cooking accompanied by our own extra vergin olive oil and tuscany wines.

Activities and surrounding
The farm holiday is in an excellent position to reach the most famous cities of artistic interest: Firenze, Pisa, Siena and Volterra can be visited on a day trip and beaches are only 40 minutes faraway.
At only 3 Km you can find a riding school where skilled instructors will be glad to teach horse riding to groups or single persons.
More experienced riders will also have the chance to walk on horseback through the hills and the valleys of the Berignone Forest Nature Reserve, or by the side of the Cecina River ponds.
In Casciana Terme or Bagni di Pisa (about 40 / 70 km from Pomarance) you will find equipped indoors and outdoors covered thermal swimming- pools with spa.
You will have the chance to walk along the paths encompassed by the Mediterranean scrub of the Berignone Forest and take a bath at the wonderfull place of 'Masso Delle Fanciulle', in the river named 'Cecina'
Nature Reserve or through the heartbreaking sceneries of the " Devil's Valley". Among the places of cultural interest, the . "Geothermal Industry Museum " of Larderello is surely worth mentioning.
