The seventeen century structures have been restored in 1990, keeping their pleasant country style, in order to accommodate guest in the heart of the Migliarino San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Natural Park.
The farm holiday is included in the Coltano estate, a real rural village in activity, and located in a favourable position (next to Pisa, Livorno and to the coast).

All the apartments have been carefully restored, and the farmstead typical structures have been maintained. The apartments are provided with kitchenette, TV, heating and air conditioning. They are nicely furnished in a simple and rustic style. Each apartment has an outdoor area, where open air meals can be taken.
Apartments (from 2 to 4 person)
Cardellino – Goldfinch: The Goldfinch apartment, located at the ground floor, is composed by a living room with stone-built kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The entrance is in front of the Mediceous Villa garden.
Usignolo – Nightingale: The Nightingale apartment, located at the first floor, is composed by a living room with stone built kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom. It offers a pleasant sight on the Medicous Villa and its garden.
Passerotto – Sparrow: The Sparrow apartment, located at the ground floor, is composed by a living room with kitchen area and a bathroom. It overlooks a charming pinewood.
Pettirosso – Robin: The Robin apartment is located at the ground floor. It overlooks a nice and cosy court. It is composed by a living room, kitchen area, a double bedroom and a bathroom.
Apartments (from 4 to 6 person)
Civetta – Owl: The Owl apartment, located at the ground floor, overlooks on a nice and cosy court. It is composed by a living room with a kitchen area, a double bedroom, a triple bedroom with a wooden loft and a bathroom.
Upupa – Hoopoe: The Hoopoe apartment, located on the first floor, is composed by two double bedrooms, a living room with kitchen area and a bathroom. It offers a pleasant sight on the Mediceous Villa and its garden.
Albanella – Harrier: The Harrier apartment, located at the ground floor, overlooks a nice a cosy court. It is composed by a living room with kitchen area, a double bedroom and a bathroom. Facilities for disabled people are available.
Picchio – Woodpecker: The Woodpecker apartment is located at the first floor of the Sabaudia Farmhouse. The typical rural structures and the wide sight on the country represent its peculiar beauty. The apartment is composed of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom.
Cinciallegra – Titmouse: The Titmouse apartment, located at the ground floor of the Sabaudia Farmhouse, enjoys the quiet of the open country. Outside tables and a wood-burning oven offer the chance to fully enjoy the rural life. The apartment is composed of a living room with kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Airone – Heron: The Heron apartment, located at the first floor of the Mediceous Farmstead, is composed by two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms. It offers a pleasant sight on the Mediceous Villa and its garden.
The Garden Bar is a precious restoration spot, where you can spend pleasant days between the border of the swimming pool and the bar, where charming music can enlight your meals, served under the garden umbrella.
Restoration in the holyday farm is managed by “Il Granaio”restaurant, which is owned by the Cooperative, and it is located next to the apartments in another building of the village.
At “Il Granaio” you can find all the specialities of tuscanian cousine, from salami to wine, from cheese to steaks. Most of the food served comes directly from the Migliarino San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Park or from the Coltano estate. An example is the “Mucco Pisano” ‘s meat, a local cow breed, that had nearly disappeared and has been recently recovered by a project of the University of Pisa: now it is locally bred again for meat production, that has obtained the quality mark for typical productions.
The restaurant is open all nights for dinner except for Monday. Holiday farm guests benefit for a 10% reduction on every meal.
