We were really good. The area is beautiful. The farm, located in a quiet position just below Pienza, enjoys a breathtaking view over the valley. The apartment that we were allocated was very well kept: clean, tidy, tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. The owner, Erika gentle, made us feel at home than to delight us with a high quality cuisine.

My husband & I spent a wonderful week at Il Poderuccio! Erika made our stay relaxing; the apartment was perfect for the two of us; the location smack in the middle of some amazing countryside. Our dinners with Erika were as good & even better than local restaurants, as were our breakfasts. It was the perfect location for daytrips all around the area, including Siena & Perugia. This was our first visit here & I am hopeful we will return someday soon. Absolutely FIVE STARS.

Returning after two years for a 7 night stay, we weren't sure if the experience would be as great as the first time. We found, again, a very gracious and kind host in Erika, extraordinary food (we had to ask Erika to serve us LESS food at dinner, but it was to die for), and, as others have noted, a beautiful and hospitable place to serve as a base for exploring Tuscany (and for us, Orvieto).

Complimenti!!! It is the best place to stay in Tuscany. We had stayed for 5 nights and we saw almost all Tuscany. And it was so good to return from trips to our little home - Poderuccio. Erika was very kind and was always smiling. So your good mood is guaranted. And if you try dinner made by Erika - your life will become more lighter. And Panna cotta...it was incredible!!!
I hope that some day we will return.
