This place is an excellent starting point for historical and cultural excursions thanks to its position among Siena, Arezzo and Perugia and the outskirts of some historical centres like Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Chiusi as well as Abbadia San Salvadore  or the abbeys of Monte Oliveto Maggiore and Sant'Antimo. At the same time you can find some important thermal centres as San Casciano dei Bagni, Chianciano Terme, Sant'Albino, Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo.

Natural attractions are present together with the beauties of nature and the countryside of Val d'Orcia and you can admire them through trekking or mountain bike excursions. You will also find Monte Amiata, Lake Trasimeno and Lake of Bolsena a few kilometres away.
