Podere Cacciamici is located in one of the most beautiful but, at the same time, lesser known areas of the Val d'Orcia. Its location is, in fact, quite particular: on the border between the towns of Sarteano and Pienza, it enjoys a beautiful view of the ancient fortress of Radicofani, with the small town of Castiglioncello sul Trinoro, an ancient medieval village, behind it.

For over a century, the Rappuoli family, originally from the area, has been cultivating the fertile Siena soil, handing on the secrets of the trade from generation to generation. The farm occupies one of the oldest and most important monasteries that the area can still boast: Pieve di S.Piero in campo, whose consecrated church preserves the most evident traces of its Roman origins.
Guests can stay in 5 self-contained apartments, furnished with rustic furniture, wooden beams, terracotta floors and equipped with modern facilities with kitchen, heating, rooms with bathroom and TV. On the ground floor, there is also an apartment with disabled access. The beautiful, spacious communal lounge may be used together by guests or booked for parties, dinners and ceremonies.
In addition to growing cereals, durum wheat, sunflowers and seeds for feeding livestock, the family also rears calves and, more specifically, the prized Chianina breed which produces the well-known Tuscan Fiorentina (T-bone steak), that guests at the agriturismo can see cooked on the brazier, accompanied by excellent, typical wine from the farm’s vineyard, or a plate of pici pasta or homemade tagliatelle, all served in a lounge whose ancient arched doorway opens out over a beautiful view of the valley.
