The agriturismo
Podere Cacciamici is located on a typical Tuscan hill and enjoys a beautiful view of the ancient fortress of Radicofani and the 'entire park of the Val d' Orcia. Excellent starting point to discover the medieval villages within easy reach such as Pienza, Castiglione d 'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, San Quirico d' Orcia .Not far Montalcino and Montepulciano undisputed destinations for lovers of wine cellars and their fine wines.
At guests' disposal a charging station for electric cars with availability of 7.5KW.
Only one apartment, the Moro, can accommodate pets, to be communicated when booking.
The accommodation
The Rappuoli family, originally from the area, has been passionately cultivating the fertile Sienese lands for over a century, handing down the secrets of the trade from generation to generation. The farm occupies one of the oldest and most important monasteries that the area can still boast: the Pieve di S.Piero in campo, whose consecrated church preserves the clearest traces of its Romanesque origin.
Guests can stay in 6 independent apartments and one studio apartment, furnished with rustic furniture, wooden beams, terracotta floors and equipped with modern facilities with kitchen, heating, rooms with bathroom and TV. On the ground floor there is also an apartment with disabled access. The splendid and spacious common room can be used collectively by the guests or, by reservation, also for parties, dinners and ceremonies.

At guests' disposal there is a box for storage and maintenance of bicycles.
In addition to the cultivation of cereals, durum wheat, sunflowers, seeds for livestock feeding, the family occupies its time also with the breeding of calves and more precisely of the prized Chianina breed from which the well-known Tuscan Fiorentina beef is obtained.which the guests of the farmhouse can enjoy cooked in full view in the brazier, accompanied by an excellent and genuine wine from the farm vineyard, a plate of pici or homemade tagliatelle, all served in a hall that opens the old arched door on a wonderful view of the valley.
Activities and surrounding
Ideal for stays in both summer and winter (in winter it is conveniently close to the ski slopes of MountAmiata), this agriturismo offers its guests several leisure options: spending quiet afternoons in the shade of plants and gazebos in the spacious surrounding garden, going on mountain biking trips (offered by the agriturismo), going horse riding (riding school 4 km away) or collecting mushrooms or fruits in the woods nearby.
Spa lovers will find the farm the ideal starting point for exploring the best-known resorts in southern Tuscany: Bagni San Filippo (14 km), Bagno Vignoni (16 Km), San Casciano dei Bagni (23 km), Rapolano (53 km) and finally the most well-known spas in Saturnia (70 km), Chianciano (16 km) and Montepulciano (16 km).
Guests can also immerse themselves in the art and history of the nearby towns which, especially in summer, offer countless important folkloristic and cultural events (Bruscello, International Art Workshop, Val d'Orcia Festival, Bravìo delle Botti, Festa del Barbarossa etc.).
Guests at the agriturismo can also experience country life by participating in threshing in June-July, ploughing in September or even sowing in October and the grape harvest in September.
