In books dedicated to Siena’s history Clatinianum is described as a small hamlet that witnessed a great part in the city’s history and which in 1554 was burned to the ground by the Spanish. In the past this place produced precious wines and oils; today, the farm has been skillfully renovated in full respect of its past architecture. Guests may stay in one of the 19 apartments with exposed wooden beams, terracotta tiles, and kitchen units.

Almost at the edge of an evocative "cypress grove" and amidst the lush vegetation of olive trees you’ll find the pool, which also offers an incredible view of the surrounding Chianti hillside and the city of Siena. 

The farmhouse is also perfectly located in the heart of Tuscany for weddings, gala events, parties, banquets and buffets, meetings, seminars or conferences, exhibitions and art shows. The lavish interior of the villa gives an added value to any occasion. The Vecchia Tinaia (156 sq m), a spacious, recently renovated hall with vaulting and original terracotta flooring, may host up to 120 guests for a seated dinner, and up to 150 conference participants. After the hall comes the terrace and splendid courtyards. Here you may enjoy the entire outside area, including the evocative Giardino all'Italiana, also open during the winter.
