We are a small family, with one child. This property is beautiful and wonderfully located for Siena and Chianti town day visits. Our apartment exuded charm and had an unexpected view of Siena as well. We loved the breakfast room looking out to the pool as well as the breakfast itself.

Although the owners were friendly, they didn't offer information unless directly asked. They seemed very busy. We would advise prospective guests to understand that deposits are nonrefundable, even when made months in advance. We tried to cancel soon after we made the initial reservation, based on a price misunderstanding (regarding the use of a sofa bed), and they refused us. We knew we would like the property and so went instead of losing our deposit.

We held our wedding at Fattoria di Corsignano in October 2008 and it was amazing. Elena and Mario are warm and attentive hosts that made our week long stay an experience to remember.

From the moment our guests arrived they have not stopped raving about the Fattoria – it still continues now! They all felt incredibly welcome and were stunned by the beauty of the property and gorgeous rustic apartments. Everyone loved the wonderful wine that is produced on site and we were very lucky that the harvest fell during our stay as it was fantastic to watch while sipping wine on our terraces.

The Fattoria is in an excellent location as you can enjoy the amazing countryside that surrounds Corsignano but are still in easy reach of Siena.

One of the highlights of the week was definitely the taking a cooking class with Elena followed by a tour of the wine cellar with Mario. Everyone that took part thoroughly enjoyed it and has taken great pleasure in recreating the meal for friends and family back at home. It was such a fun day and a great way for all our guests to get to know one another. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough to all those visiting the area.

Our wedding day was just as we had always imagined – gorgeous scenery, delicious food, incredible wine and a warm & relaxed atmosphere – thanks to their hard work and attention to detail.

Fattoria di Corsignano is great for a relaxed, fun holiday and as an amazing wedding venue. The wedding was our third visit and it will certainly not be the last. We hope to make it over for as many wedding anniversaries as possible to enjoy Elena & Mario's hospitality and to restock our wine cellar.
