Fattoria di Corsignano

Corsignano is a huge estate in the Chianti area, just a breath away from the city of Siena. The Fattoria di Corsignano, located in the area Chianti Classico Gallo Nero, is an estate of 22 acres. Nearly twenty acres of our estate are devoted to the wine production, and four acres to the olive oil's one. Almost 40.000 Chianti Classico wine bottles, Grappa, Vinsanto, extra virgin olive oil and olives are produced yearly.
The large, tempting swimming-pool, the mountain bikes, the laundry service and the barbecues are at disposal. A wood track shows all the typical plants of the Tuscan wood: junniper, holm-oak, oak.
A pleasant tasting of wines and olive oil with a visit to the wine cellar and an explanation is offered to all guests. On request they organise spa treatments and massages and relaxing days in Rapolano Terme. On request, there's a Gourmet package and other interesting tours and activities to learn to know the tuscan territory.
For those who love the Tuscan cuisine they organise cooking classes at the Fattoria or in Siena, depending on the number of participants.

All of this is just at a few kilometres from Siena, Florence, Perugia, Grosseto and the sea. Countless day trips await you: San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Volterra, Pienza, Lake Trasimeno.
Lovely castles, monasteries and abbeys are nearby.
Five minutes away by car is the village of Vagliagli for basic shopping: chemist, medical doctor, post office, supermarket. Banks, petrol stations and railway station are located in Siena that is within a 15 minute drive while Florence is an hour away.
