Il Molinello

Tired of city life, in 1996 we decided to live in the hearth of Crete Senesi. Immediately we have fallen in love with Molinello, with its Etruscan origins (and the nearby tumulus), its medieval mill (whose ruins are still visible nowadays), its age-old oak trees, and with the peacefullness and quietness that surround it. We have decided to share all this with our guests.

We live in a wing of the farm and we will be glad to offer their guests: swimming pool, green area, playground, washing-machine, wood oven, barbecue, mountain bike hire, organic vegetables and fruit of their own production…and their availability. We organize once a week a wine tasting course to explore the main tuscan DOC and DOCG and a cooking lesson. We usually propose our guests a weekly activities programme. Our winery is at guests’ disposal to relax and to taste a good glass of wine. We will propose you a weekly activities programme to discover the coulours and the tastes of crete senesi region and a free guided tour of Siena together with an official AGT Guide
 At the Spas of Rapolano it is possible to take mud bath treatment, inhalations (from april to nevember), phisycal therapy, beauty treatment, massages (all year round). In summer the thermal swimming pools (which are open also nightly) are excellent to relax and for the wellbeing of body.
 By request it is possible to visit the contiguous etruscan tomb “Tumulo del Molinello”, a particular travertine grave, which, with the others in the area, constitutes an interesting attraction.

We rent 5 apartments: il Cipresso: It is our biggest flat (140 m²)
The flat is constituted of three double rooms (with the possibility of a bed for children in addition, with protection bars), of a great living room with sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath.
The flat is completely equipped (dishes, pots etc.) and is fitted with bed, bath and table linen, independent heating and television.
It is located on the second floor of the main structure and from their windows you may enjoy of a fine view on the village of Serre di Rapolano, the Crete Senesi and country surrounding.
Il Gelso: Its position in the centre of the middle age farm makes it the most charming.
It is constituted of a double room (with the possibility of a bed for children in addition, with protection bars), of a living room with bed sofa, of a kitchenette and of a bathroom with shower. The flat is completely equipped (dishes, pots, etc.) and is fitted with bed, bath and table linen, independent heating and television.
I Pini:  flat of recent restructuring is furnished by simple elegance. It's constituted of a double room (with the possibility of a bed for children in addition, with protection bars), of a living room with bed sofa and fireplace, of a kitchen, of a bathroom with shower (equipped also for disabled persons). The flat is completely equipped (dishes, pots, etc.) and fitted with bed, bath and table linen, independent heating and television. The flat has a great independent and fenced garden.
L'Acacia: The flat of recent restructuring is furnished by simple elegance. It's constituted of the double bed rooms (with the possibility of a bed for children with protection bars), of a kitchenette, of a living room with fireplace, bathroom with shower. The flat is completely equipped (dishes, pots, etc.) and fitted with bed, bath and table linen, independent heating, air conditioning and satellite television. The flat has a large independent and fenced garden.
Il Pomo (il melo+il ligustro): Recently renovated apartment, composed of 2 double bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, television in both bedrooms, heating. Ground Floor. This apartment can be rented also as a two-roomed apartment (Il Melo) and one double bedroom with private bathroom (Il Ligustro) with creakfast option. If the apartment is rented entirely it has a private fenced garden.
