La Lucciolaia

Far away from the noise and the stress of our ordinary daily life, Podere La Lucciolaia enjoys lovely views of unspoilt countryside and of the medieval towers of San Gimignano. This ancient farmhouse, now carefully renovated, is divided into nine comfortable double rooms where the charming atmosphere of past times is perfectly blended with modern facilities.

Room “ Albicocca” (Apricot) - This first-floor double bedroom retains many original features of the traditional Tuscan style, with terracotta tiled floors and beamed ceilings. From its windows guests can enjoy lovely views of the medieval towers of San Gimignano. An extra bed can be added on request.
It has an en-suite shower room, heating, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

Room “Fiordaliso” (Cornflower) - This first-floor double bedroom, with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, is painted in the colour of this precious flower, now almost extinct. It enjoys a lovely view of the swimming pool and of surrounding gentle hills.
It has an en-suite shower room, heating, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

Room “Girasole” (Sunflower) - This room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, is on the first floor and it is named after the sunflower, an icon of Tuscany. The room enjoys lovely views of the garden and of the swimming pool. It has an en-suite shower room, heating, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

Room “Focolare” (Fireplace) - This first-floor room is really exclusive, and boasts a large ancient rural Tuscan fireplace. It has beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors, and enjoys a lovely view over the paved terrace and the surrounding countryside.

Room “Lillà” (Lilac) - This first-floor room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, enjoys lovely views over the gentle hills, and the Chianti region. It has an en-suite shower room, heating, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

Room "Rosa antica" (Ancient Rose) - This first-floor room is named after the beautiful rose garden that can be enjoyed from the swimming pool sun terrace. It has beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, and overlooks the surrounding hills, that according to the season and to the light effects offer attracting shades of colours.
It has an en-suite shower room, heating, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

Room “ Salvia” (Sage) - This first-floor room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, enjoys idyllic views over the towers of San Gimignano. It has an en-suite shower room, heating, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

Room “Senape” (Mustard) - This first-floor room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, enjoys lovely views over the towers of San Gimignano, partially covered by an imposing century-old cypress tree, where squirrels run up.

Room “ Viola” (Violet) - This first-floor room, with beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, is large and spacious, and opens directly onto the outside paved terrace. It is particularly suitable for small families.
