The agriturismo

The organic farm is situated in Buonconvento, a stone’s throw from the Crete Senesi. It cultivates cereals, vegetables and produces an excellent red wine.

 

The tranquillity of the area regenerates body and mind, together with the friendly, homely hospitality so typical of the Tuscan people.

The accommodation

The apartments for guests are located in farmhouses dating back to the 19th century. They have heating, fireplace, TV, private entrance, private outdoor area and original Tuscan fin-de-siècle furniture.

 

 Tasty homemade cakes and Tuscan specialities enrich the generous buffet breakfast. Guests can avail of a cot, high chair, changing table and bottle warmer. Swimming pool, mountain bikes and bicycle services, table tennis, gym, barbecue and children’s playground all enhance the holiday.

 

A homemade dinner can be prepared on request for guests together with the owners.

Activities and surrounding

Located on the Eroica cycle route, the estate welcomes cycling enthusiasts who decide to venture on the winding roads of the hills around Siena. Its proximity to the Via Francigena makes it perfect also for pilgrims.

Agreements are in place with spas and a riding stables, with Tuscan cookery courses available on request.

The closest town is Buonconvento (2.5 km). Siena, Montalcino, Pienza, San Quirico, Bagno Vignoni, Montepulciano, the Abbeys of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Sant’Antimo and San Galgano are all within easy reach. The Tyrrhenian coast is about 1 hour’s drive away. Florence at 90 km and Rome at 190 km.
