The agriturismo
On the slopes of Mount Amiata, this traditional farmhouse, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Val d'Orcia (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), enjoys a beautiful, secluded location up close with nature and the animals that inhabit the reserve, close to culture, spa centres and ancient medieval hamlets such as Bagno Vignoni, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza.
The accommodation
The farmhouse consists of a main farmhouse and a nearby annex; it has a total of 3 apartments, finely detailed, independent and with direct access to the garden and swimming pool.
On the ground floor of the main farmhouse is theOlivo apartment, consisting of a dining room with kitchen, a large living room with fireplace, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the upper floor, theGirasole apartment, accessed by an external staircase, offers a dining room with kitchen, a large living room with fireplace, two double bedrooms and a bathroom. The annex houses theUva apartment consisting of a comfortable dining room with kitchen, a double bedroom, a bedroom with a French bed, and a bathroom.
The infinity pool offers a striking panoramic view of the typical Crete Senesi. The property boasts 22 hectares of private land including olive groves, orchards and an organic vegetable garden.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is nestled at the heart of the Val d’Orcia, in the ideal spot for enjoying a range of sports, from cycling to golf and trekking, as well as walks along historic routes like the Via Francigena. As well as popular destinations such as Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Siena, you’ll enjoy easy access to the Bagno Vignoni spa centre with its wellness facilities, and the public spa centre Bagni S. Filippo, where you can submerge yourself in natural pools surrounded by woodland.
In winter you’ll find ski slopes just 40 minutes from the farm, and in summer you can enjoy the local adventure parks. The crystal clear waters of Monte Argentario are less than 2 hours away.
