An Organic Farm Company, agritourism and certified "know your food" restaurant in Val D'Orcia, 4 km from the San Filippo Thermal Baths. The company produces and processes Cinta Senese pigs for which it was recognized as the best organic cold cut producer in 2008. Organic chickens and pheasants are raised and oil and jams and produced; all products can be bought on-site.

The structure within a fantastic, carefully renovated 18th century Farmhouse in the Val D'Orcia is surrounded by a park with centuries-old plants and meadows where it is not unusual to see deer, squirrels and other forest animals.
La Locanda has 4 double rooms with bath that are spacious and well-lit with autonomous heat control, television and internet connection.
The company's home-grown and bred products are the basis of everything that is served to guests in the restaurant: homemade breads and sweets, our own jams and jellies, cold cuts and cheeses, soups made with faro and grains, dishes made with cinta senese pork and ancient Tuscan recipes from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance that the chef has reprocessed.
It is also the headquarters of the L.U.DI.C.A. (Free University for Cultural and Environmental Diversity), an association chaired by EDGARD MORIN that organizes courses, internships and events. It is an educational farm.
