Agriturismo Podere Cunina is passionate about preserving architecture and the landscape, with respect for the local area.Using typical, local, traditional materials, the renovation process involved meticulous research.
Nestled in a nature reserve, rich in wildlife, Podere Cunina offers 7 skilfully renovated apartments with views of Montalcino, Mount Amiata and the hills of Buonconvento and Siena. The farmhouse is furnished with quality antique furniture, equipped with all modern conveniences, with the highest level of safety and energy-saving certifications (underfloor heating with geothermal system, solar and photovoltaic system, geothermal cooling in summer, thermal insulation, water collection, swimming pool).
Environmental preservation is also evident in the restoration of a small existing olive grove, and the creation of a new one with 800 plants of the Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Pendolino varieties.
The organic farm produces Crete Senesi organic extra virgin olive oil, wildflower honey and saffron.Silvana and Piergiorgio welcome guests to their organic vegetable garden, where you can pick seasonal vegetables and aromatic herbs for free.
