The agriturismo
Agriturismo Villa il Castagno is an excellent starting point for discovering the whole of Tuscany. Located on one of the most beautiful hills in the Chianti region.
An idyllic place surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, just a stone's throw from the legendary city of Siena. The Chiantigianaroad that crosses the Chianti Classico region is just a stone's throw away; the superstrada that connects Siena to Florence is only 2 km away ; as is the Siena-Bettole link road that takes you in a flash to the Crete Senesi, Montalcino, Pienza or Umbria.
The Agriturismo, with its typically Tuscan structure, the swimming pool with Jacuzzi immersed in the landscape, and the enveloping nature that frames it, inevitably guarantee a relaxingstay.
The accommodation
Villa Il Castagno is composed of 10 suites, each of them named after a great Italian painter and furnished with great attention to detail. In addition to the evocative furnishings, there is no lack of modern conveniences: flat screen TV, wi-fi, air conditioning, heating, mini bar, hair dryer, independent alarm system, bath and/or shower.
Each suite, usually designed for two people, consists of a bedroom, a separate living room or a corner with comfortable armchairs for reading and a spacious bathroom. However, it is possible to add extra beds for children under 16 years old.
The property has its own restaurant with typical Tuscan cuisine. Breakfast is included in the price of the suite. Every morning you will find fresh bread, homemade jams, honey produced on our land, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, coffee, tea, fruit, fruit juices...
The agritourism activity is just another point of arrival of the work, the company was born with the production of wine and oil available for tasting.
The structure is family-run: the smile, the welcome and the attention for each customer are the strong points to guarantee an unforgettable stay.
