The agriturismo
Centrally located with respect to the main art cities in Umbria, 5 km from the center of Montefalco, the agriturismo is found atop a hill surrounded by vineyards and boats of a splendid panorama of Assisi to Spoleto.
The accommodation
Our agriturismo offers guests four rooms and three apartments overlooking the surrounding valley. The accommodations have exposed wooden beams, “country” furnishings, and terracotta flooring.
Outdoor, sun-filled pool, playground and farm for kids, spacious garden for relaxation.
Restaurant with typical cooking with organic fruit, vegetables grown onsite, animals grown here, homemade pasta (gnocchi, strangozzi, tagliatelle, pappardelle, ravioli).
We also have a farm that grows grapes, olives, grains, sunflowers. Typical products: organic extra virgin olive oil (DOP certified), organic wine "Rosso di Montefalco", Montefalco "Sagrantino secco", Montefalco "Sagrantino passito", organic jams, Sagrantino jams.
Activities and surrounding
Montefalco is one of Italy’s loveliest hamlets, "Patria del Sagrantino" is a treasure trove (with art by Perugino).
In the cities, towns and hamlets nearby there are special events regarding:
- typical products: wine (Terre del Sagrantino, Calici sotto le stelle, Cantine aperte), oil (Frantoi aperti);
- historical-medieval events (l'Agosto Montefalchese, la Quintana);
- country feasts where to savor typical products.
Near the agriturismo there are many pastimes: tennis courts, minigolf, soccer field, bowling, go-kart lanes, winter pools, gyms, horseback riding (2 minutes away), multiplex theaters, sports fishing, discos, ballrooms, pubs.
The agriturismo also offers bikes and mountain bikes. For nature lovers you may take long walks, nature excursions, guided tours in interesting sites (for history and archeology), strolls through the streets of medieval towns.
