Agriturismo il Bastione in Spello, is a historical building of 1300, medieval jewel architectural, on the hill, of extraordinary beauty, surrounded by a thousand olive trees, adjacent to the Nature Reserve of Subasio, distant 1.5 km c. from the center of Spello, near the most beautiful towns of Umbria.
Agriturismo il Bastione is refined and elegant. Comfortable rooms with bath. Restaurant with traditional Umbrian cuisine. Parking.
The accommodation
The position of the farmhouse is central in Italy, in the middle of the umbrian hills . The panoramic view on umbrian valley is wonderful. It's near to the historical centre of Spello. The Bastione is an umbrian typical restaurant. The restaurant is in a magnificient room of stones, with a big and old fire-place. Tables and fornitures are ancients and every structural feature is original of the middle-age. Expert hands produce every dish , with our products of superior quality. In our Agriturismo every meal is of the umbrian tradition. We offer to our customers typical wines and a special extra-vergine oil, that we produced. Comfortable and panoramic bed-rooms: every bed-room is with private bath, refrigerator and TV. Daily clean-service in the bed rooms.
In Agriturismo il Bastione there are different kind of bed rooms:
bed rooms Classic:rooms have wooden-beamed ceilings, rustic furniture and iron bed. Avaibility of panoramic bed rooms.
Bed rooms Scudiero: rooms with wall of stone, part of the medieval building. Chestnut-beamed ceilings and antique furniture make an elegant and intimate atmosphere.
Bed rooms noble (suite): panoramic view of the Umbrian valley, and on the Park Natural Subasio. Original in its medieval architectural elements, it is large with vaulted double-sixth. Antique furniture will further enhance the prestige of charm and elegance.
Ability for customers to play in our games room: pool table, foosball, chess, checkers, etc...
Activities and surrounding
Agriturismo il Bastione is in Spello, beautiful ancient town with typical Umbrian charm, rich in artistic and architectural works. Our position 1.5 km from the historic center is strategic for those who love peace and privacy without sacrificing comfort.
The most beautifull and important towns of Umbria are far few kilometres of freeway. The Bastione is distant as soon as 3,5 km from the freeway.
Agriturismo il Bastione is adeguate to satisfy the different exigence of tourists, that want visit Umbria. Around our property there are many paths, that tourists can travel by feet, or by bicycle, or by horse.
A path, long about 5/6 km, direct to Assisi, is a wonderfull panoramic scenery. So tourists can see one of the most beautyfull nature reserve and they can live sensation of an old lost time.
However the better way to visit Umbria is by car. Infact Spello is in the centre of the region and its position is strategic for the tourists.
Agriturismo il Bastione has a game room with pool table, foosball table, multi-player tables, chess, checkers and TV room. Elegant exterior, relaxation areas, nature trails and a beautiful landscape enhance the Agriturismo.

We loved every aspect of it. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the dining room cozy, the pool clean. Comfy beds. 10/10 in all aspects, no exaggeration! The hosts were *extremely* friendly and accommodating. We appreciated it so much. Highly highly recommended.
