The agriturismo

In a quiet oasis on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, this farmhouse nestled in the hilly landscape overlooks the panorama of the Sienese Val di Chiana, on a farm estate planted with arable land, vineyards, olive trees and woodland.

The farm is open from April to September inclusive.

The accommodation

Painstaking restoration of the farmhouse has created 5 carefully furnished apartments, with names inspired by the surrounding nature. All have a dishwasher, fridge, television and fireplace.

The apartments can be rented separately or together for large families or groups of up to 25 people: the facility also offers a communal sitting room and kitchen, as well as large outdoor areas for dining and a table-tennis table.

Activities and surrounding

Art and culture lovers will find the location ideal for getting to Siena (65 km), Perugia (55 km), Florence (120 km), Rome (150 km), Assisi (75 km), Spoleto (95 km), Arezzo (60 km) and Orvieto (40 km), as well as the towns of Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, Castiglione del Lago, Tuoro sul Trasimeno and Panicale (half hour by car).

Those who prefer healthy physical exercise can take mountain bike excursions or hikes in the woods or through the olive groves around Città della Pieve, visit the golf club 10 km from the farm or take boast trips on Lake Trasimeno. The nearby thermal spa in Chianciano offers a wide range of treatments.
