Farmhouse is located within a 50 acre estate surrounded by vineyards and olive-groves overlooking lake Trasimeno, only a few miles from the charming hill-town of Cortona. The surroundings of this charming farmhouse were the site of the famous battle of Lake Trasimeno; here in 217 B.C. the Roman army was routed by the Carthaginian army led by Hannibal. The front-yard features a large-lawn and a 7x14 metre swimming-pool. After its renovation in 2001, the farmhouse was converted into five independent apartments, two on the first floor and three on the ground-floor.

This farm produces excellent white wine (Trebbiano and Malvasia) with no added chemicals as well as an outstanding Vinsanto. In the fall, our century-old olive-groves yield a fine olive-oil with a pleasant fruity taste to it.
Completely refurbished in 2001, the farmhouse is surrounded by lawns, wheat and sunflower fields, olive-groves and woodland, in a private location overlooking lake Trasimeno. The well-kept, fenced front-yard (ideal for kids) features extensive lawns as well as a beautiful 7 x 14 metre swimming-pool. The farmhouse includes five independent apartments, two on the first floor and three on the ground-floor, each with large living-room with TV set, sofas, kitchenette complete with oven and fridge, two double-bedrooms and bathroom with shower. Extra beds for kids available on request.
