The agriturismo
The Tenuta dei Ricordi is a cozy family-run farmhouse, located in one of the most picturesque and unspoiled corners of the Umbrian hills, in a beautiful medieval village overlooking the valley, surrounded by 6 hectares of Sagrantino vineyards, olive trees, a small lake, and a salt-purified swimming pool . From the estate there are wonderful views of the surrounding countryside of Spoleto-Montefalco and Trevi.
The agritourism and the entire Umbria are taking all necessary measures to ensure everyone's safety and to welcome all those who wish to spend a serene summer period away from large urban centers.
Automated systems of registration and access authorization are being adopted.
The accommodation
The farmhouse is housed in a 19th-century manor house that has been renovated with great attention to detail.
The lodgings available to guests(6 apartments) have tile ceilings crossed by chestnut beams and are furnished with rustic and painted furniture . They are all equipped with kitchenette, fireplace, wrought-iron beds, TV.
They are completed by a solarium with a 6mt x 12mt salt and non-chlorine swimming pool and Jacuzzi whirlpool for 6 people, table tennis, table soccer, fitness equipment, playground for children, gazebo.
Breakfast is prepared with homemade traditional Umbrian sweets. Breakfast can be served directly in the apartments or in the large outdoor garden with barbecue.
On request it will be possible to have the daily newspaper on the farm by making a request upon arrival, use of business service with fax and e-mail.
Private parking inside the farm.
Small animals allowed.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can visit the farmyard animals, go on bicycle rides (bicycles of different types and sizes are available free of charge), go on an equipped trekking trail among the olive trees and the farm vineyard. Directly in the farmhouse it is also possible to buy typical products, organic cereals, cold cuts, cheeses, extra virgin olive oil.
You can walk to the central square of Castel Ritaldi where there is a post office, bar and groceries. From Castel Ritaldi you can easily reach numerous tourist and cultural destinations including Montefalco, Trevi and Spoleto. Main distances: Assisi km 37, Foligno km 21, Gubbio km 85, Montefalco km 9, Norcia km 55, Orvieto km 89, Perugia km 57, Spoleto km 9, Terni km 48, Todi km 51.
A few kilometers from the property you can visit one of the largest riding schools in Umbria (not owned).

We spent a week at this very nice Agriturismo. It is perfectly located with views over the valley and is very close- just a few steps- to a medieval village where you find a post office, a little shop and 2 bars, one with very good food. The apartment was spacious and cosy.
