Monte Valentino intrigues anyone who find themselves in Umbria going along the Valle del Carpina, between Gubbio and Città di Castello, because of its position. It is a special place, on the top of a hill overlooking a truly beautiful landscape. It hasn’t always been a simple farmhouse: in centuries past it has been protagonist and witness to the history of the valley; it has had a defence and control function and it has been an aristocratic residence, connecting its name to well-known families such as the Montefeltros.
Monte Valentino has been a part of our personal story for many years and it has been for us first a dream, then a labour of love in our spare time, finally our work, our home, the place where we stay with our friends and meet new people, where our plans start.

Where there once was the farmhouse, now there is our home, our cantina and four apartments, where we can accommodate up to ten people. We like to think that the small scale and friendly management make our agriturismo an extension of our home.
We accommodate our guests in two or three bed apartments. Each apartment has its own well equipped cooking area and its own open-air area, where guests can relax in absolute peace.
Appartamento celeste: for two guests. A room with double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.
Appartamento giallo: for 2/3 adults and 1 child, if necessary. This room has a large terrace with wonderful views over the valley.
Appartamento rosso: for 2/3 guests. There is a double and a single bed, a separate kitchen area and french windows opening on to a balcony.
Appartamento verde: for 2 guests. With double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The large outside terrace has splendid views over the valley towards the hill-town of Montone.
