Thanks to its geographical position, the agriturismo is an ideal base for tours to the best-known Italian cities of art, as well as countless wonderful villages and hamlets scattered among Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio, each characterised by its own traditions and where each season events and typical village fêtes are held that bring to life local uses and customs and offer the chance to taste the local cuisine. Some examples are: Allegrona (5 km), Perugia (70 km), Orvieto (20 km), Todi (50 km), Viterbo (60 km), Cianciano (40 km), Montepulciano (45 km), Lake Bolsena (30 km), Lake Trasimeno (40 km), Città della Pieve 25 km, and naturally Rome 120 km and Florence 150 km. The sea is 90 km away (Argentario area), the mountains (Mount Amiata, an area teeming with stunning spa centres and ski resorts) 50 km. Nearby are also some well-known spa centres, such as San Casciano Dei Bagni, which is 20 km away, and Chianciano Terme at 40km.

As well as taking wonderful walks in the unspoilt nature, the agriturismo offers the possibility to swim in the pool, play bowls, as well as a small but well equipped play area for children. Near the agriturismo there are sport centres which offer tennis, horse-riding or canoeing and angling either on the Tiber or on Lake Bolsena.
