Frallarenza

Between 2002 and 2003, we renovated and enlarged the original farmhouse, taking care to mantain the architectural style and the building materials typical of this region: stone, wood, terracotta tiles. So,in addition to the apartment where we live, we now have two further apartments for our guests, each with an independent entrance and a porch under which you can have meals or read a book.
The small apartment (50 sq. m.) consists of a kitchen/living-room with fireplace (you can light the fire only for ornamental use, but it is not possibile to use it for cooking) and a double sofa bed, a double bedroom (it is possibile to add a third bed for a child) and a large bathroom with a washing machine for the exclusive use of guests. Note that this apartment is also accessible to handicapped persons.
This apartment can accommodate up to five people.
The large apartment (106 sq.m.) consists of a spacious kitchen/living-room with fireplace (you can light the fire only for ornamental use, but it is not possibile to use it for cooking) and a wooden loft (see photos) where two children may be easily accommodated; this apartment also has three double bedrooms (one of which is very large and has a third bed and, additionally, its own private bathroom) and a large bathroom with shower, tub and a washing machine for the exclusive use of guests.

Both the appartments have color LCD TV and a Free Wide Band Wireless Internet Connection.
Our kitchens have all you need to cook by yourself (coffee maker, dishes, glasses, pots, and so on). You will also find some basic ingredients to prepare breakfast (for the first day) and meals by yourself (coffee, sugar, milk, lemon, tea, butter, biscuits and a homemade cake; salt, pepper, red hot pepper, garlic, onion, a bit of our extra vergin olive oil, vinegar)

Frallarenza offer countless opportunities for walking in the beautiful woodlands and vineyards of the Orvieto region, with kilometres of trails on which you can also ride a mountain bike.
Our farmhouse is surrounded by an expansive garden, that allows our guests to enjoy peaceful hours, and children to play freely in a safe place. There is a area equipped with a barbecue and picnic table and a large grass lawn to play football.
A ping pong table is in the garden, near the swimming pool and another one is covered, in a small "gym", so it is possible to play when it’s bad weather.
The swimming pool is surrounded by shady trees and is located in a quiet and secluded flower garden.
Moreover, in the farmhouse there is a large room equipped with a gas stove and a fire-wood oven, where we organize cooking classes: you can learn with us to make "fettuccine", "gnocchi", pizza and many other Italian traditional recipes, and have a nice dinner with us.
For all those who are interested in craftsmanship, we organize classes on how to make terracotta and pottery, as well as handloom-weaving courses.
