The accommodation

This area is characterized by the presence of typical small medieval villages and old farmhouses scattered in the land. The owners have recently restored the ancient stone country-houses with original building materials and the guests, at present, can enjoy their ancient beauty and their untouched harmony with the environs.
The company extends around a central nucleus made up of a typical Umbrian country village from the 1700's. During that century, and exactly in 1788, the construction of its present form was completed using the materials that were available, such as stone, oak, bricks baked in the local kiln using the mortar taken from the fields. Even the typical yellow sand called Matile was local, as well as the lime used for binding. Still visible in the woods are the “Calciare”, holes in the ground where stones were baked to get the binder, after further processing, for walling up.

The village has 2 external courtyards, one towards the façade with the typical double V stairways and the Chapel and one in an internal courtyard where the large wood-burning oven and farm holiday kitchen is located. To the north, a paved lane leads to the large panoramic swimming pool that overlooks the valley, with the riding stables and the trailhead that crosses through the Elmo Regional Park. The company was owned by the Ruspoli family until the end of the 70's when it was bought by the Agneni family, who at first introduced hazelnut cultivation with the most modern methods, then restored the buildings, with most of them destined to farm holidays. You are welcomed in rooms of various typologies equipped with the best comforts, all furnished with nice and simple furniture.

Inside the ancient walls, the guests can discover the flavours of the past in the creative and traditional dishes prepared by the owner with the genuine products of the farm; among them the truffles, which are cultivated according to biological farming methods.
