The agriturismo

The agritourism takes its name from the milling activity that flourished in the valley until a few years ago, the millstones and tools of which still remain in use.

The agritourism, with organic farming, offers an educational farm, possibility of finding bicycles for rent to walk along the many paths that start from the agritourism, along which there is also exercise equipment.

The accommodation

The agriturismo is composed of three self-contained apartments, furnished to reflect aspects of mountain tradition:

- “Finestra al cielo” has a kitchen made using local wood and overlooks the large valley.
- “Vista sul cortile” overlooks the internal courtyard.
- “Vista sull’acqua” overlooks a canal that powers an old mill.

 

The agriturismo has been designed to encourage elderly and non self-sufficient guests to stay there.
Photovoltaic and solar panels have been installed to produce hot water and electricity.

Activities and surrounding

Guests can use a reading room with internet access and enjoy the stream . A bicycle park is available .

In the farmhouse there is a museum that collects tools and working instruments used in the valley and that represent the rural reality. Children are entertained and followed by the operators free of charge in the various activities of the farm ( farmyard animals, horse, donkey, rabbits, Peruvian guinea pig, vegetable garden etc.) for educational purposes; the mill is also started with illustrations
and manipulation of the complete cycle of corn
.

The location of the farm is convenient for excursions to the Grappa Massif and the Park of the Belluno Dolomites. Easily accessible locations such as Possagno, Asolo, Bassano and Valdobbiadene Pedavena, Conegliano and Feltre (the latter only 10 km).

For those who love sports there is the Rock climbing gym of Schievenin at about 3 km and paragliding (of which the world championships were recently held).
