Corte Cariano

Corte Cariano is located in one among the most ancient “horseshoe courtyards” of the Classic area of Valpolicella, historic trail between Verona and Garda Lake. Until the 1900, the Lessinia stone pavements, that draw its elements, functioned as a ground to dry out the grain, that croppers later sold to the local traders. The Agriturismo is provided with three unique and original solutions, one different to each other for their dimension, furniture and colors. All of them have girders and wooden ceilings, intimate corners enclosed by wide stone walls. Archs and niches depict the romantic identity of each room. The great care to details inspired the recent restoration, made with respectful attention for the original raw materials and atmospheres. Furniture is the result of an accurate seek that has been able to recuperate the old family furnishings, together to elements found in the local street markets, reinterpreted by a personal restore carried on by the same owners. Corte Cariano maintains the Venetian warm family character: perfumes, sounds, colors of the Venetian culture depict once again a frame to live in the beautiful vineyards that surround the house.

Appartamento del Fienile is entirely located at the second floor of Corte Cariano, once used as drying room, where the grape bunches addressed to Amarone were laid out on bamboo mats to dry naturally, to achieve the family Reserve. The apartment is composed of a great living room and kitchen with fireplace and household appliances (dishwasher, oven, coffee machine). There is a double bedroom with a fresco-painted bathroom, and a queen size bedroom with bathroom. In the latter, it is possible to add two additional sleeping accommodations (0-14 y.o children).

Appartamento della Pigna is located at the first floor. Here, bright and oriental-style colors and a dressy furniture marry the preciousness of Klimt’s paintings. Furnishing made of water bulrush and dark smooth woods presents tactile sensations to rediscover. The queen size bedroom is provided with a big walk-in closet, while bathroom is designed by elegant details in “Moon” stone. Living room and kitchen can host meals for three persons.

Camera dell’Uva is located at the first floor of  Corte Cariano, former residence of the Brunelli family, till the Fifties. The only solution without a kitchen is however provided with a little fridge with the option of having a coffee machine. The bathroom is warm and cosy, with a fantastic wide shower designed in “Moon” stone. Sofa-Bed.

Each solution provides, included in the price, Internet wall sockets for your laptop. If needed, at the ground floor it is possible to use the Wine Shop computer. Corte Cariano provides you with a couple of bikes. Air conditioning, cleaning, and - of course - some bottles of wine are included in the daily rate. The awarded wines of the Brunelli Estate, owner of the Agriturismo and great interpreter of the Amarone, can be tasted free of charge in the Showroom nearby.
