The agriturismo
Sommavalle Verona is a small farm devoted to oliv-groving and oliv-making situated in the hill of Verona just 4 km from the city centre. An ideal location for quiet holidays in the countryside as well as a perfect starting point to visit Verona, the lake Garda or Venice or for walks in the nature.
The accommodation
The farm is located just a few minutes from Ponte Pietra, on the hills overlooking the historic center of Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet; this oasis of peace offers a unique opportunity, two holidays in one: a stay in the countryside and city life.
The farmhouse has four rooms finely furnished and equipped with private bathroom with shower, heating and air conditioning. A reading room and a garden are also available to guests. In the surroundings there are restaurants, trattorias, pizzerias.
Activities and surrounding
From Sommavalle, where the structure is located, you can reach the ancient city with the Arena of Verona ( Arena di Verona Opera Festival ) and its squares and beautiful churches in just 4 km.
Sommavalle Verona is an ideal starting point to visit the nearby Lake Garda (Gardaland, Thermal Park of Garda, sailing, windsurfing) or the beautiful cities of Venice and Mantua.
Footpaths, mountain bike trails or horseback rid es allow you to discover enchanting places in the Verona hills. For those wishing to do sports, soccer fields , basketball courts , tennis courts, swimming pools and an equestrian center are nearby.
The staff will be happy to suggest guests tasty gastronomic itineraries.
