The agriturismo

An agriturismo in a peaceful spot in the Berici Hills, just outside Vicenza, boasting a long family history of hard work and passion for the countryside, fine food and a warm welcome.

In 1978, Margherita and Napoleone Massignan began selling their wholesome produce – cured meats, eggs, cheese and vegetables - from their home. In 1985, the farm became a recognised agriturismo, dedicated to the sale of typical specialties, such as “bigoli al torcio”, pasta and beans Veneto style, frittatas and grilled meats. Ten years later, thanks to the hard work of the Massignan children - Daniele, Guglielmo, Paolo and Stefano - Il Crichelon is now a hotel, restaurant and agriturismo.

The accommodation

The farm offers different options for accommodation, tastefully furnished rooms with a wonderful panoramic view:

- 13 rooms are located in a quieter position in the farmhouse residence - all with bathroom, hydromassage shower and Turkish bath - including one suite and six with living room and kitchenette.

- 8 rooms are in thehotel - withbathroom and hydromassage shower - located in the main part of the accommodation.

All rooms have satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning, mini bar and Wi-Fi internet connection.

The restaurant offers a traditional Vicenza cuisine, prepared with ingredients of own production and accompanied by wine (Cabernet, Merlot and Soave), the flagship of the company. The restaurant seats 150 and has three different rooms with panoramic views: a larger one, ideal for banquets and weddings, and two more intimate ones. In summer, you can enjoy the restaurant on the terrace in the middle of the vineyard, enjoying the panorama of our Berici Hills.

The agriturismo is located in the Berici Hills, just 5 km from the city of Vicenza. The surroundings are ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding, along accessible pathways which wind through the hills.

The cities of Venice, Verona, Padua and Vicenza are all within easy reach.
