The agriturismo
The estate, situated in the Berici hills, boasts a privileged position thanks to its striking setting and easy access to the motorway at Montecchio Maggiore, a short distance from the old centre of Vicenza.
The tranquillity of the surrounding natural reserve and the seasonal fragrances of nature lend themselves to pleasant cycles, dog-trekking, horse riding and games of golf on the 18-hole course.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers three double bedrooms (Vanilla, Cream and Ginger) designed and built to provide guests with the utmost comfort and relaxation.
Renovated using only natural materials, with naturally treated Elm wood floor, orthopaedic mattresses, beds with beechwood slatted base, they have a spacious bathroom with shower, air conditioning, TV, safe, heating with thermostat, made-to-measure wardrobes and bureaus, refined wood and leather coverings.
The lighting, provided by energy efficient halogen bulbs, is diffused and refined, while in the small Vanilla suite a third bed can be added and the bathroom has a comfortable “Turkish bath”.
Activities and surrounding
There is a wide range of leisure and cultural activities on offer, from art cities (Vicenza, Bassano del Grappa, Marostica, Venice and Verona) to Venetian and Palladian villas, from places of religious interest (Monte Berico Sanctuary and the Basilica of Sant’Antonio da Padova) to the thermal spas in Recoaro, Abano and Montegrotto.
Verona’s Arena, the Olimpico Theatre and Vicenza Theatre host major concerts and shows, and sporting activities include golf at the Colli Berici golf club, Nordic walking, mountain biking, E-biking, Gran Fondo cycling and hiking along the Berici hills route.
At just 20 minutes from Verona exhibition centre, the estate is the ideal solution for those who wish to attend the many major trade fairs in accommodation far from the hustle and bustle of the city, while food lovers can taste Asiago cheese, soppressa salami and Vicenza-style salt cod, Creazzo leaf broccoli and Grumolo delle Abbadesse rice.
