The agriturismo is situated in the Chianti Hills just 5 km North of Siena; near the major lines of communication leading to the most renowned places, like San Gimignano, Volterra, Montepulciano, Firenze.
The owners of the company will be pleased to suggest also less famous, but inviting sights: a river and a hot water spring where you can bathe, the Senese territory is rich in thermal water; the open air markets and the festivals, the historical villas with their gardens and the artistic parks, which are authentic surprises in the very heart of the countryside, perfect mixtures of art and nature. Information material on the events in the province of Siena is always available on the premises. The agriturismo is in contact with trekking, horse riding or mountain bike excursions organizers.
Besides excursions, it will be pleasant to enjoy the agriturismo where you can attend the farming activities and get to know the animals, taste the vegetables from the kitchen garden along with the company’s products: wine, cheese, olive oil, jam, eggs. You can also go walking in the wood, ride one of the bicycles, which are at guests’ disposal, exploring the neighbourhood, have fun in the swimming pool open May to September, play ping-pong, a swing and slide are available for children’s amusement, or relax on a hammock in the garden to then try out the barbecue in the evening. Tuscan cooking classes can be organized on request. |
