The year’s most delightful season is back again: it’s time to jump into one of our agriturismi and, why not?, a new activity.
That’s why we’ve selected 10 things to do in the spring at one of our agriturismi! Now choose…

Try paragliding

What do you feel lifting up off a hill and softly gliding through the air? Let’s discover it together with a flight (or a race!) paragliding.

At the Agriturismo Masseria Rossella in Piana degli Albanesi (Palermo) you can take a 3 day paragliding class or simply try a single or tandem ride.

Paragliding is one of the best ways to fly: contact with the air, with the feeling of free flying … Let’s try?

Nature sports

Spring is also the right season to practice sports outdoors.  At the Agriturismo Castelsenese of Valtopina (Perugia) you can!
This agriturismo, located in the Parco Naturale del Monte Subasio, near Assisi, also has a green gym nestled in nature.

Kids are at home here: they can have fun on the playgrounds.

Sports fishing in nature

Those who are already fans will surely find relaxation. Out in nature, when the nice weather starts. It’s sports fishing.

At Soiano del Lago (Brescia) there’s the Agriturismo Gardahill which offers its guests the chance to practice sports fishing.

Onsite there are two lakes surrounded by reeds and weeping willows, and are full of perch, trout, grouper, catfish and lots of aquatic flora.
Bring the kids: they’ll have so much fun!

Learn to make jams

We know very well that spring and summer offer us the most delicious and succulent fruitsMaking jams and jellies can be an excellent way to enjoy these flavours in the winter...

If you’ve never done this before, the Agriturismo La Colombara at Pianolo (Bologna) is ready to help.

The farm is found on the hills of San Lazzaro di Savena and makes its own wine, jams, vegetal preserves, honey, fresh fruit and veggies; above all they organize fun practical classes on how to make jams! Ready to try?

Trekking with a shepherd

It’s not your typical walk across the mountains. What you’ll find at the Agriturismo Le Radici in Blessagno (Como) is an actual trek with a shepherd.

You’ll be accompanied by Sebastiano during day excursions: you’ll relax with a great walk together with some farm animals, along the stunning paths around the agriturismo.

Besides getting some exercise, you can admire the spectacular nature, nestled in the splendid mountains of the Valle d'Intelvi.

Breakfast in a mill

Have you ever dreamed of seeing the production of one of the most common ingredients in our food: flour?

At the Agriturismo Tenuta Valdorso of Montechiaro d'Acqui (Alessandria) you can do this because here they organize guided tours to the mill so you can explore this production process.

Here, at the mill, you can stop by and savour a delicious homemade breakfast ... unforgettable!

Country decoupage classes

You’ll find it at the Agriturismo Podere Fontecastello in Montepulciano (Siena)!

If you love painting and in the spring you want to live this passion, then this agriturismo is right for you.

On occasion, the owners organize country decoupage classes for guests. You can also take advantage of their special offers.

On Vespa across medieval hamlets

Just imagine a warm breeze caressing your face and all the splendour of Tuscany’s hillside in front of you. It wouldn’t be so bad hopping on a Vespa in the spring at the Agriturismo Casa dei Girasoli in San Gimignano (Siena)!

You can organize with the owners some wonderful excursions on moped and explore this area: small natural paradises, ancient hamlets and important cities await you nearby.

Prefer the car? There’s also a period fiat500 to rent!

Old trails by horse

Have you ever gone horseback riding? Maybe the time has come to experience this feeling!

The Agriturismo La Volpe of Roseto Capo Spulico (Cosenza) boasts its own stables: the guides will allow you to participate in horse excursions along old paths, across a small valley 2,600 metres from the sea.

And if you want to extend this experience there are also horseriding lessons held by qualified staff.

Birdwatching is an extraordinary passion that can win anyone over, both adults and kids.

At the Agriturismo San Martino in San Costanzo (Pesaro / Urbino) you can practice this in the spring. Its location, completely nestled in the many parks nearby, will allow you to admire herons, bee eaters, buzzards, owls and so much more.

Thanks to the specialized staff you can adventure through the forests and go birdwatching, waiting to observe close-up various species of animals in this region.
