The agriturismo
Villa Antonelli and Casina Piangevino are two recently renovated old farmhouses, nestled in the countryside between Monopoli and Castellana Grotte, close to the sea and the region’s main points of interest.
Guests can enjoy breakfast served in the shared lounge, ample free parking, access to the agriturismo’s partner beach with the possibility of discounts for guests, and a children’s play area.
The accommodation
A short distance from the hamlets of the Itria Valley, Villa Antonelli stands on a hill, surrounded by greenery and adjacent to a small wood, and comprises of a central nucleus and a chapel with tower. The date 1763 has been carved at the gateway, thought to be the year in which the chapel was built. A belfry with a bronze bell dominates the central façade of the main body, located along the farm's access road. Inside, 5 independent apartments have been created, plus one room with garden.
Casina Piangevino is 3 km away from Villa Antonelli, an old farmhouse with stone vaulted ceilings comprising of 6 independent apartments built around the olive press with its impressive machinery. Here guests can really soak up the surroundings (typical “trulli” dwellings, olive groves, vines, dry stone walling) and sample the farm's organic produce: extra virgin olive oil, cherries, figs, apricots, lemons and oranges. The atmosphere on the farm is akin to the country festival, which once brought the rural folk and the former owners together on the parvis in front of the stunning chapel, now transformed into a vast square shaded by scattered trees and a large pine grove.

Alberobello, Martina Franca, Cisternino, Locorotondo and Ostuni.
