C.da Bicocca (via delle croci), 8, Pezze di Greco 72010 Fasano (Brindisi)
The farm stands on an old rupestrian settlement in an ideal location between the sea and the hills. Guest accommodation is provided in 7 suites and 5 twin rooms with independent entrances, TVs, mini bars, air conditioning and safes. Guests also have access to the barbecue and swimming pool. Breakfast is included in the accommodation price, prepared using typical produce from the local area and the farm itself, such as jams, dried fig tart, and citrus carpaccio with cinnamon.
The Rustic Rooms were created inside buildings with three centuries of history, the Junior Suites include lounge areas and garden access, the Superior Suites have balconies, garden access or private verandas and the Romantic Suite is a cave transformed into an intimate love nest.
There is also a kitchen where guests can prepare and eat meals, and the veranda and the garden with its age old olive trees are perfect for reading and relaxing.
The swimming pool with sea views is refreshing in summer. The restaurant (open from May to October) offers tasting evenings 3 times a week with typical traditional dishes.
The agriturismo offers typical cookery course (1.5-2 hours) using produce from the organic vegetable garden, during which guests can learn how to prepare homemade pasta (orecchiette, cavatelli, strascinate and more) and their own pasta sauce, or a main course and dessert.
There are also limoncello and sweet liqueur workshops, starting from the gathering of the raw materials, right through to the preparation and final tasting. Guests can enjoy vintage car trips through the Itria Valley or along the coast, guided bicycle excursions to the Torre Guaceto Reserve or the Dune Costiere Nature Park, and guided tours of the local cheese producers with tasting.
Just a few minutes takes you to Martina Franca, Fasano with its safari park, Ostuni, Cisternino, Locorotondo with its circular historic centre, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello with its typical “trulli” houses and Castellana with its cave tours (available with German and English speaking guides).
Set menu + └ la carte
We were in this wonderful place and expectations for lunch were very high at the height of the place. It's a shame, however, that the menu was incredibly poor in the choice of both appetizers and first and second courses ... You can not offer people on holidays and after long walks x get us bare menus especially based on vegetables ... No appetizers with local cold cuts and local cheeses... We requested an extra portion of breadballs for the baby and were told that they were sprints made at the time and you couldn't have anything else... The choice of appetizers to forget we opted for a caprese but mozzarella disappeared... Let's not talk about the first ones without all vegetable-based.. For the seconds we opted for a cut the most tempting and excellent ... I say that there's that the line you follow is your company's but you can't accommodate people with a varied menu said by you every, 3 or 4 days printed on a forward behind a sheet of paper. You deserve much more x the place that you offer to the guests, it would have been wonderful to have finished the lunch satisfied not only in the eyes but also in the tasting of the dishes.... I repeat, everything was fresh and good, but not the meagreness of the choice.. Never happened!!! Slow waiters with little friendliness x guests.
