Completely dipped in the green, bordered by the chestnut’s and beech’s forest, in the Regional Park Matese, the farmhouse has as purpose to be the right synthesis between comfort and local traditions.
Located in the one of most beautiful Italian’s village, Cusano Mutri (homeland of the mushrooms festival), in the Benevento’s province, along the Titerno’s river. It offers rooms, that represent, by a modern concept, the simple and warm rural style, an independent apartment and a restaurant with typical cuisine.
The accommodation
Michele and his family’s passion will be available for assure you a great experience at direct contact with the nature environment among wide spaces and unexpected calm.
The local has extended for about 4 hectares and it is of course possible go for a walk, relax, admire the landscape or stay together with your family and friends.
The rooms represent, by a modern concept, the simple and warm rural style. The wood furniture and the terracotta’s floors give to the environment a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, that is directly connected with the all ambient. The rooms, all ensuite, have TV and heating. Moreover it is also possible to accommodate in an apartment with garden away from the main building only 200 mt.
The restaurant has 3 rooms which are characterized by the rock (La Roccia) that is situated inside and by a relax room. There is also the possibility to eat outside under the shadow of an huge tree or by the wide gazebo. Using only typical products, fresh and from the season, characterized from an unique and unmistakable taste, the chef will delight you with the typical dishes that was common to cook years and years ago.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse La Roccia is located in the Regional Park Matese, synthesis between the exuberant nature and an old culture and tradition. Several routes, to follow alone or with experienced guides, let you discover unsuspected places. Paths, adventure Parks, Caverns, Trekking, Climbing, Speleology, Riding or excursions by quad.
The routes are diversified by difficulty and length.
Above the tree’s top the eagles and other predatory birds turn around.
In the neighbourhood there are several attractions like: the Dinosaur’s Museum in Pietraroja, Cerreto Sannita (city of arts and ceramics), Thermal Centre and the Lake Temese Terme, the Solopaca’s Wine and Food Museum or also the numerous medieval castle’s charm.
Moreover, the possibility to visit the Padre Pio’s birthday places.
