The agriturismo

Bosco Farneto farm uses organic farming methods. The main crop is the hazelnut, flanked by a vineyard, an orchard and a seasonal vegetable garden. A warm welcome awaits for both the restaurant and the accommodation: the swimming pool, five-a-side football pitch and playground for children contribute to a peaceful stay.

Surrounded by greenery, at the bottom of the foothills of the Apennines and not far from the volcanic complex of Roccamonfina, this is the ideal starting point to discover the Alto Casertano area with its landscapes packed with art, nature and gastronomy.

The accommodation

The Bosco Farneto area gave its name to this agriturismo located in Presenzano, in the province of Caserta, established in 2004. The farm’s main work involves growing hazelnuts using organic farming methods (certified by the AIAB - Italian Association for Organic Agriculture - since 1997).

On the farm there are large meadows, orchards and vineyards. A rose garden that is home to rare varieties of antique roses will take you on a journey of shapes, colours and scents. The vegetable garden and the presence of farmyard animals, essential elements for the restaurant, provide an opportunity to come into contact with things that are miles away from our city life.

A playground for children, the five-a-side football pitches and volleyball courts and the swimming pool allow you to spend time peacefully. You can spend a day with friends and family to celebrate birthdays, christenings, communions, anniversaries and weddings in an atmosphere that combines tranquillity and familiarity with sophistication.

Accommodation is provided in double, triple or quad rooms or in an apartment. The rooms are named after the flavours of the jams produced by the old family business: “Prugna” (plum), “Pesca” (peach) and “Ciliegia” (cherry).

The restaurant is characterised by cuisine from the Campania region with a subtle new slant and the use of high quality, authentic products offered by our region. Homemade pasta, top quality dairy products and cheeses, meat (buffalo, lamb, veal, all from farms in the area), freshly-picked vegetables, unforgettable desserts: all following the rhythms of the seasons. You can sample and purchase the hazelnuts, jams (mulberry, blackberry, peach, persimmon, onion, green tomato and many others) and annurca apples.
