The agriturismo
The agriturismo was established in 1982 as a pastoral farm, and in 1993 the farm buildings were converted into the accommodation and a restaurant. Today, from its prized cattle, sheep, horses and pigs, the farm produces delicious specialties, which can be enjoyed in the agriturismo’s restaurant or purchased from the farm shop.
The farm offers a comprehensive agriturismo experience, with recreational activities for families, educational activities for students, a range of sports for the more active guest, and a campsite and picnic area to top it all off.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers a variety of accommodation options, from rooms to mini-apartments and a youth hostel.
The scenic rooms - twin, triple and quadruple, 2 of which are equipped for disabled guests - all include bathrooms, central heating and TVs, and are spread across the farm estate: “Il Rifugio”, where you’ll find the restaurant, reception and bar, is home to the main rooms, “Chalet del Principe”, a few metres away, offers an additional 2 rooms, and “La Vecchia Dimora”, 1 km from the reception, comprises 11 rooms adjacent to the Youth Hostel.
The mini-apartments, caressed by the lake breeze, are collectively known as the Country House La Baita, located on the banks of a lake, 6 km from the main accommodation structure. There are one-room, two-room and three-room apartments with kitchenettes, independent or central heating and TVs. All guests also have exclusive access to the swimming pool, barbecue, and small play area.
The Youth Hostel, 1 km from reception, is reserved for sports groups, scouts and larger families. It comprises 2 large rooms with 20 beds, a kitchen equipped with pots and pans, dining room, disabled bathrooms and showers. The campsite is equipped with light points, showers, sinks, toilets and motorhome facilities, in the shade of towering ancient beech trees. The camping area is not far from the main agriturismo accommodation, where all the guest activities are concentrated, but given the size of the farm, various spaces are available for use as camping areas and scout camps.
The picnic area is designed for those who love nature, the ideal spot to sample the farm’s delicious specialties. You’ll find a large tree-lined area with hundreds of benches, barbecues, fountains and facilities, immediately in front of the agriturismo's accommodation structure.
