The accommodation
Masseria Mastrangelo is located in Prata Sannita, inside the Matese National Park. The structure is located inside an ancient olive grove, at the entrance of an ancient passage of merchants coming downstream from the mountain massif. The structure has been completely renovated between 2015 and 2016 and is presented as a stone building, where each boulder used has been worked by hand. The rooms available are 3, two triples and one quadruple, all have a wooden roof and the old stones of the original construction that peek out under the plaster. The rooms have a private bathroom with bath or shower and some overlook the mountains or the garden. The large green garden forms a small terrace overlooking the village and the medieval castle of Prata Sannita Inferiore, as well as showing a magnificent view of the mountain massif of the Matese. The restaurant is entrusted to the chef and sommelier Vincenzo De Cristofano, owner of Pinturicchio 40 of Rome and Head Sommelier of the 7 restaurant in London. We are 48 km from Roccaraso and 40 km from Caserta. Front desk staff is available 24 hours a day. Free use of bicycles is available at the property and the area is popular for fishing, hiking and unspoiled nature.
