At the San Giorgio farm, a recently renovated rural building prepared for holiday farm use, the owner Annamaria offers a friendly welcome, inviting guests to discover the country tradition and culture. In fact, the San Giorgio farm comes within the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, recently recognized by UNESCO as a Protected Nature Area.
The farm is situated between the Tyrrhenian Sea, about 3 km away, and Mt. Stella, Mt. Sacro or Gelbison and the Alburni mountains, about 10 km away. You can also participate in the activities of the farm which has olive trees, vines, vegetables, sowable land and also rabbits, chickens and pigs. The San Giorgio farm, run with the organic method, produces most of the products used in the kitchen for preparing typical local dishes like fusilli, dumplings, lasagne and chick-peas.
