The agriturismo

Situated on the Tuscan-Romagna Apennine ridge at 274 meters above sea level, on the edge of the ancient road that connects Florence to Ravenna passing through Faenza, the farmhouse offers a stay in a green and harmonious landscape just a few steps from the Lamone River and a few kilometers from Brisighella, newly elected as one of the 100 most beautiful villages in Italy.

The accommodation

The earliest records of the housing structure date back to the 1300s, likely witnessed by the characteristic shape of the recently renovated stone turret building. The rooms are particularly well-kept, with exposed wood-beamed ceilings, wrought-iron beds and antique-style furnishings. The rooms are located on the second floor with independent access and private bathroom. From the windows you can appreciate a beautiful view of the valley with vineyards, tilled fields and woods overlooking the Lamone River.

We have 4 bedrooms with bathrooms and 1 apartment .

In the morning we serve a breakfast based on the farm's organic products: honey and jams.

Activities and surrounding

There are numerous destinations that can be reached from the farm either by own means or by rail (S. Cassiano station about 1.5 km away): the medieval village of Brisighella, awarded the most prestigious certifications (Borghi più Belli d'Italia, Cittaslow, Orange Flag of the Italian Touring Club), is only 13 km from the farm. It is characterized by three rocky pinnacles, on which rest the Manfredi fortress (14th century), the Monticino sanctuary (18th century) and the tower known as the Clock Tower (19th century).

The waters of its thermal baths and the tranquility that reigns in and around the village make it the ideal place to abandon all stress and devote oneself to self-care. A sea of greenery, chalky paths and stairways, ancient places of worship, houses set in characteristic streets, traditions, flavors, and architectural and natural beauty all waiting to be discovered.

Other destinations within easy reach are Faenza (25 km), Ravenna (65 km), Bologna (70 km), Ferrara (70 km), and Florence (73 km).

Nature lovers can also reach the Park of the Casentino Forests (20 km), the Chalk Vein with the Carnè Park and the karst cave of Tanaccia di Brisighella (13 km), the Po Delta (85 km) as well as numerous CAI trails also in the vicinity of the farm. For the more sporty, 10 km away are the swimming pools of Brisighella and Marradi and the riding school in Marradi.

The famous Mirabilandia amusement park (for children and others) is only 50 km away.

Amazing
