The agriturismo
The agriturismo is located at the heart of the countryside between Reggio Emilia and Modena, in a land of ancient rural traditions which produces Lambrusco, Parmigiano Reggiano and balsamic vinegar.
The accommodation was born from the renovation of an old farmhouse with a traditional Italian style garden, which still remains today, along with the stables, hayloft and farmhands’ accommodation. Recycled materials such as tiles, bricks and timber have also been used for some of the custom designed furnishings and fittings.
The agriturismo is part of a certified organic wine farm with its own private wine cellar, which produces wholesome wines using grapes grown on its own soil, carrying on a family tradition which began in 1907.
The accommodation
The agriturismo comprises 7 apartments built inside the main farmhouse, each with their own special features and finishes, and all including kitchenettes and bathrooms (bath or shower), dining and living areas and one or more bedrooms.
The accommodation enjoys underfloor heating and natural ventilation. The high quality finishes and modern layouts ensure optimum use of space and maximum comfort for guests.
The old hayloft has been converted into a large hall on three levels, with a height of almost 8 metres. This light and airy setting is available as a venue for a wide range of events, from weddings to themed evenings, private parties, courses and educational activities.
